OUR INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY POLICY
GeekCoveApparel.com respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects our customers and partners to do the same. In accordance with United States intellectual property laws and the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (“DMCA”), as well as other applicable international laws, GeekCoveApparel has adopted the following policy regarding copyright and trademark infringement.
We take intellectual property concerns seriously, particularly because our business revolves around unique artwork, designs, and creative expression. Any reported infringement will be reviewed and acted upon promptly.
REPORTING INFRINGEMENTS
Your notice must be in compliance with the DMCA and include the following:

Signature – A physical or electronic signature of the person authorized to act on behalf of the owner of the intellectual property.

Description of Work – A detailed description of the copyrighted work, trademark, or other intellectual property you believe has been infringed. If multiple works are involved, please provide a complete list.

Location of Infringing Material – A clear description of where the allegedly infringing material is located on our website or technology (URL links are strongly recommended).

Contact Information – Your name, address, telephone number, and email address.

Good Faith Statement – A statement that you have a good faith belief that the disputed use of the material is not authorized by the intellectual property owner, its agent, or the law.

Accuracy and Authority – A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the intellectual property owner or authorized to act on their behalf.
Once a valid notice is received, GeekCoveApparel may remove or disable access to the material and will make a reasonable effort to notify the user responsible. Repeat infringers may have their accounts terminated.
⚠️ Important: Submitting false claims of infringement may result in legal liability under Section 512(f) of the Copyright Act.
RESPONDING TO INFRINGEMENT NOTICES (COUNTER NOTICE)
Your Counter Notice must include:

Signature – A physical or electronic signature of the subscriber.

Identification of Removed Material – A description of the material that was removed or disabled and the location at which it appeared before removal.

Good Faith Statement – A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.

Contact & Jurisdiction – Your name, address, and telephone number, along with a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for your judicial district (or, if outside the U.S., any district where GeekCoveApparel may be found), and that you will accept service of process from the original complaining party or their agent.
Upon receipt of a proper Counter Notice, GeekCoveApparel may provide the complaining party with a copy and may restore the removed material within 10 business days, unless the original claimant initiates a legal action.
